Iran Threatens to Target Military Aid Shipments to Israel

In a significant escalation, Iran has threatened to strike shipments of military aid destined for Israel, according to a report by AFP on Saturday.
This threat follows statements by Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for the Houthi movement, who warned that any American involvement in aggression against Iran would prompt attacks on U.S. ships and naval vessels in the Red Sea.
He added, “Any U.S. attack supporting Israel means enslaving our nations and occupying our homelands. The Israeli enemy aims to dominate the region and is attacking Iran, Yemen, Lebanon, and Palestine.”
Meanwhile, CNN reported that the Iranian presidency warned of multiple strategic options if the United States engages in the conflict to support Israel.
The Iranian presidency told CNN that diplomacy could resume easily if former President Trump called for an end to the attack on Iran.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to peace and stability, stating that the only path to ending the conflict is through an unconditional cessation of Israeli aggression.
He declared, “Guarantees must be given to end any Israeli adventurism. Our responses to Israel will become harsher and will force them to regret their actions.”
